Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland is a quaint, mountainous region; at its base lies the Elbe River, which snakes its way northwest, through Dresden, before continuing all the way to the North Sea.

Dresden, the “Florence of the Elbe”, lies 30 km away from Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland and is reachable by plane (Dresden Flughafen), auto (A4, etc.) and regional and inter-city trains (ICE, RE, S-Bahn). From Dresden, your destination in Bad Schandau is just a short drive or train ride away; for your convenience, our hotels are located around ten minutes from the golf course.

By foot, the Toskana thermal baths are just 5 minutes from our location. Here one can enjoy a wide assortment of adventurous and relaxing wellness offers. We are also just minutes away from a major ferry point along the Elbe; from here, it is possible to catch a steamboat ride to culture-centers like Pirna, Dresden, Meißen, or to popular visitation sites like Festung Königstein!
